Mississippi Clean Fuels Coalition (apprentice)

The Mississippi Clean Fuels Coalition works with vehicle fleets, fuel providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify community-driven choices that save energy and promote the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies in transportation.

Apprentice Coalition: The U.S. Department of Energy has recognized this apprentice coalition that has assembled an initial group of committed stakeholders and is working toward full designation.

Angela Card (acting)

Ms. Angela Card is a Senior Research Engineer at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) at Mississippi State University (MSU) with over 25 years of experience working on various federal and industry programs. She obtained both a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from MSU. Her research initiatives have involved on-board vehicle power systems, modeling and simulation of powertrains, vehicle control systems, advanced hybrid/electric vehicle technologies, utility power system relay setting automation and coordination, idle reduction programs, and electric ship research. She represents CAVS at regional organizations such as the STRIDE Collaborative (Southeastern Team Reducing the Impacts of Diesel Emissions) Collaborative and SETRI (Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative).
