Kevin Herdler

Kevin Herdler has been involved with the Clean Cities program since its inception in 1993 and assisted in forming Atlanta's Clean Cities program in Georgia. In 1998, Herdler relocated to St. Louis and became involved with the St. Louis Regional Clean Cities program. In 2000, he was appointed the executive director. Herdler’s commitment to clean energy solutions has garnered multiple accolades, including the Outstanding Government Leadership Award, Coordinator of the Year, induction into DOE’s Hall of Fame, and the Impact Award. He actively serves on various committees, including the East-West Gateway Council of Governments air quality steering committee, OneSTL Energy and Environment committee, and several clean fuel and renewable energy working groups, advocating tirelessly for clean air and sustainable energy solutions.

Herdler has been in the automotive field for 39 years and graduated technical school as a diesel technician. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

In 2011, Herdler was inducted into the Clean Cities Hall of Fame.
