Erin O'Brien
Erin O’Brien began her involvement with the Clean Cities and Communities partnership in 2023 as an Accelerate intern, where she both worked with St. Louis Regional Clean Cities and helped achieve apprentice designation for Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition. In 2024, Erin became a full-time employee of the coalition, where she has launched numerous initiatives that align with the coalition’s mission such as securing millions in funding for electric school buses, hosting a multitude of alternative-fuel-focused events, and marketing the expansion and rebranding of St. Louis Regional Clean Cities to Eastern Missouri Alliance for Clean Transportation, increasing the coalition’s coverage by 50 counties.
Additionally, she serves as a board member for Ozarks Clean Fuels Coalition and as the secretary for the Clean Transportation Network.
Erin has a bachelor's degree in geography and sustainability with a focus on economic development and geospatial sciences from Missouri State University. As a graduate assistant, Erin addressed environmental gaps for a local manufacturing company.
