Becoming a National Clean Fleets Partner
Large private fleets can make significant reductions in their greenhouse gas emissions and overall operational costs by participating in the National Clean Fleets Partnership. The initiative provides fleets with specialized resources, expertise, and support to incorporate domestic alternative fuels and fuel-saving measures into their operations.
How to Join
Once a fleet becomes a Clean Fleets partner, a Clean Cities account manager works one-on-one with fleet representatives to create a customized strategy to implement alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. The account manager also identifies Clean Cities coalitions in areas where the fleet operates and connects the fleet with appropriate fuel providers and equipment manufacturers.
Clean Fleets partners receive hands-on assistance at the national and local levels to find the most cost-effective ways to advance alternative fuels and energy-efficient vehicles.
Benefits of joining the Clean Fleets Partnership include:
Entry into Clean Cities: Get streamlined access to the national network of Clean Cities coalitions.
Information exchange: Participate in discussion groups and peer-to-peer activities to exchange information, best practices, and lessons learned.
Technical assistance: Receive customized assistance across the spectrum of alternative fuels and advanced vehicles.
Tools and resources: Use Clean Cities' diverse selection of fleet-specific tools to help you navigate the world of alternative fuels.
