Clean Cities has awarded nearly $400 million to fund hundreds of projects across the country that reduce petroleum use in transportation. These project awards contribute to Clean Cities' primary goal of reducing petroleum use in the U.S. by 2.5 billion gallons per year by 2020.

Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site

The Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site is working with Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition to convert two existing pick-up trucks to use propane and install an on-site propane fueling station. Additionally, the park plans to also replace an older gasoline mower with a new propane mower.
